Mohammed, CEO of F-S.L Food AB in Gothenburg, has been contemplating since October 2023 how best to support those most affected by the ongoing crisis in Gaza. Given his lifelong career in the food industry, he naturally focused on ways to contribute through products in that sector.

Recognizing that many people are boycotting major brands like Coca-Cola and Pepsi, he considered offering alternative products that are affordable, delicious, and aligned with consumers' values. Mohammed reached out to Jalal, co-founder of MJ Trading AB and a friend and colleague within the same industry, to discuss potential next steps for the idea.

Through MJ Trading, Jalal developed the idea further by testing various drinks with different flavors and designs until both were satisfied. This process resulted in the launch of GAZA Drinks, featuring three sodas and a mineral water.

Both Jalal, originally from Palestine, and Mohammed, from Lebanon, are deeply motivated by the opportunity to donate as much of the proceeds as possible from these products to charitable organizations.
